Made in UE4 for my group project module at Staffordshire University 3rd Year, Producer and UI


This game was created at Staffordshire University in my 3rd year with a team of students for a module. I am the producer for the team, Hydra Games. I also created all the UI in UMG and also contributed towards level creation, editing and scripting.

The Basics
Keith is a 3rd person puzzle platformer. You play as an un-named character whose job is to test the new equipment in development and to challenge yourself physically.
You meet a companion droid along the way named Keith. When you reach the end of the first area for testing, the door malfunctions and Keith suggests he knows another safe way out. Does he really?
Features
There are 3 levels in the game in total, including a tutorial.
The player uses Ice and Fire to manipulate Keith. You can freeze Keith on heavy buttons and use him as a platform to jump higher. You can also use ice to build a bridge across gaps where an ice block already exists.
Fire can be used to direct Keith around. He has a personal space issue and will always be right next to you. Fire distracts Keith and he will immediatly run to put it out. Fire also melts ice blocks and will melt the ice around Keith after you have frozen him.
Use these skills to solves puzzles to progress through the facility finding secrets along the way!

The eyes blink randomly and the opacity of the CRT lines are also random.

It changes depending on what skill you have selected or whether you have none selected at all.

These computers can be accessed throughout the levels, telling facts about the background of the facility etc.






Keith's Visor is the menu. The CRT line opacity is random as is the time between the next change. Keith will also randomly blink.
